Bio

Wycombe Wanderers secured the signing of midfielder Magnus Westergaard from Viborg in January 2025.

The 26-year-old arrived from Danish Superliga side Viborg where he enjoyed a superb spell after signing from Lyngby, making 15 goal contributions in 62 games in all competitions.

Originally from Copenhagen, Magnus started out with Frederiksberg Boldklub and spent time with the FC Copenhagen School of Excellence before beginning his professional career with Lyngby, making his senior debut aged 19.

He helped Lyngby win promotion to the Superliga in 2019 and spent time on loan with Hvidovre before returning to Lyngby to restore their top-flight status in 2023 ahead of his move to Viborg.
