Midfield battler Scowen returned to Adams Park in 2021 after starting his career in the club's academy, going on to spend a largely successful four years in the first team from 2011-15.

Gareth Ainsworth’s first task as Wycombe manager was bringing Scowen back from his loan at Eastbourne Borough in 2012 and moulding a side around the midfielder.

Scowen earned a move to Barnsley where he would become a fans’ favourite, scoring an improved 12 over 108 appearances in all competitions.

His efforts at Oakwell earned him a move to Loftus Road before he bolstered Sunderland’s ranks in 2020, heading back to the Chairboys a year later and winning the Supporters' Player of the Year in his first season, going on to win more awards over the coming years.
