Armando Junior Quitirna says moving to Wycombe is a big step in his career and a proud moment for him and his family after sealing his switch to Adams Park from Crawley Town last week.
The skilful winger completed his move on Friday and spoke of his delight at joining the Chairboys as he sat down his first interview with his new club.
“It feels great,” he said. “It’s always great when you get an opportunity to represent a club like Wycombe and I’m honoured and buzzing to be here.
“It’s a good club and to be part of it now is a big achievement for me and family. I’m proud to be here and it shows how far I’ve come in my career, and now I just hope to keep doing well for myself and for the club.
“It was a no brainer for me because of the project here and the gaffer made it clear what he wants to do and put his own stamp on the team. There were a few talks elsewhere but me and my agent agreed this is the right spot for me and now I’m here and hopeful we can achieve something great.”
And when asked to describe himself as a player, Armando answered: “I’m very direct. I like to do a few dribbles, take players on, score goals and affect the game, just like any attacker would like to do.”
