Xavier Simons is the newest recruit at Wycombe Wanderers, arriving from Hull City on a loan deal until the end of the season.
The 21-year-old has represented England across various youth levels and played 20 times in the Championship this season for the Tigers, having made an initial loan move permanent in 2023.
Equally at home in midfield or in defence, Simons started out in Brentford’s academy and moved to Chelsea in 2016, and played 15 times on loan for Fleetwood last season.

His move remains subject to EFL and FA approval.
Chief Football Officer Dan Rice said: “Xavier’s an extremely promising young talent who’s already played a lot of football this season at Championship level and we’re really pleased to bring him to Wycombe to strengthen our options during the run-in.
“He’s had a fantastic upbringing in the academies at Brentford and Chelsea and is capable of playing in a number of different positions which could be really beneficial for us.”
