Huddersfield Town vs Wycombe Wanderers

Tuesday 8th April 2025 (k.o. 7.45pm)
Sky Bet League One
John Smith's Stadium

Referee: Scott Oldham

Wycombe return to Yorkshire on a Tuesday night for the third time this season, hoping for more of the clinical finishing that saw them come away victorious with a 3-2 win at Rotherham three weeks ago, and less of the profligacy that's yielded one goal in the 61 shots since then.

Blues' impressive performances against Shrewsbury and Reading weren't rewarded with the points they needed to keep their automatic promotion hopes in their own hands, but the chance to keep up the pressure on second-placed Wrexham comes in the form of their game in hand at Huddersfield, a side also battling to climb into promotion contention, sitting two points outside the top six.

Both clubs have changed manager since the Terriers secured a narrow 1-0 win at Adams Park in January, and caretaker boss Jon Worthington has overseen wins in both home games so far, but suffered defeat in both matches away from home.

The Chairboys famously won the first ever competitive fixture at Huddersfield's newly-opened stadium in 1994, and also tasted victory on their last trip in 2021, coming back from two goals down to win 3-2 to kick-start a revival in their season.
