Josh Knight has scooped both the Supporters’ Player of the Year and Players’ Player of the Year awards, at a private ceremony at Adams Park on Thursday afternoon.
The squad and coaching staff congregated in the Woodlands Lounge after training for the presentation of six prizes in recognition of a number of outstanding contributors throughout the 2020/21 campaign.
Leicester loanee Knight topped the polls of the awards voted for by fans and team-mates, while Admiral Muskwe walked off with the Goal of the Season prize for his stunning strike at Swansea.
Anis Mehmeti was the coaching staff’s choice of Young Player of the Year, and Joe Jacobson scooped a new prize – Worldwide Wanderers Player of the Year – voted for the club’s international members.
Chairman Rob Couhig addressed the squad with a short talk and presented Darius Charles with a Chairman’s Choice award, recognising his fantastic contributions on and off the pitch in the face of injury and adversity during his time with the club so far.
