Blues have an admirable record.

It's often said that glory follows Tottenham Hotspur around when the year ends in 1... but Wanderers too have a proud record in the second year of each of the recent decades.

Way back in 1921, the Chairboys were champions of the Spartan League, and a decade later they triumphed in the FA Amateur Cup, overcoming Hayes 1-0 at Highbury.

Fast forward to 1971, and Wycombe were crowned champions of the Isthmian League under manager Brian Lee, while Mike Keen led them to third place in the Isthmian League a decade on.

Martin O'Neill was at the helm for the first of two FA Trophy victories in 1991, while in 2001, Lawrie Sanchez's men enjoyed a run all the way to the semi-final of the FA Cup.
